When need is desperate

When our need is desperate, it is time to ask for God to grace our life with miracles.

Let us place our trust in him. Let us pray with confidence then and remember what

Paul says in Ephesians 3:20, for He can do immeasurably more than we could ever

imagine or hope for.

Lord,

We pray for healing

We ask in hope

We beg for a miracle,

Knowing You provide.

We trust You will hear and answer us.

Amen

Immersion

In order to find blessings in each day it is important to take time to enter into silent stillness and immerse yourself in God's peace.

This peace is truly not of the world, for it is a gift of great depth which bears no apparent relationship to whatever chaos you may feel is going
on in your life or your body.

To enter into a calm still space and find God blessing you is an incredible wonder that can transfigure you and fundamentally change how you feel about the whole day.

God's peace uplifts. It renews. It brightens . It upholds you through any trial. It touches your heart and mind and helps you to see things anew with fresh eyes and open heart.

Healing Love

We absolutely believe that love heals. A kind touch, a loving look, a warm message, all can lift our spirits an change the whole energy of the day.

How much more powerful then, must God’s Love be, when it graces our life?

There is no more powerful a place, no more wonderful an energy, than to place the person you care about in the Heart of Love, the total Love of the Holy Trinity.

This must be where miracles take place and all is healed, for there is no greater power of Love in the whole Universe.

Lord, we thank you for Loving us

We believe absolutely in Your healing Love

To help, strengthen, comfort and guide us

Especially in times of great difficulty and need

Amen

With You oh Lord

Help me whisper Your Holy name,

In confidence and trust,

Knowing the Word will

Keep me safe this night.

Calling Upon The Spirit

The Spirit is pure Love in Action; a real Power in the world.

How can the Spirit protect us? The Spirit brings gifts that aid us, so that we can act wisely, discern truly, to help us make right decisions. The Spirit is the Messenger of God. Let us listen for the messages the Spirit brings that will help keep us safe as we walk a Holy path with God.

The Spirit brings healing on multiple levels; healing of mind, healing of body, healing of emotion, healing of spirit. And when the way ahead feels impossible, when hope is waining, the Spirit brings miracles unexpected, that can save us.

The energy of Love, uplifts us, carries us forward and energises us, empowers us with confidence. Praying in the Power of the Spirit, comforts, strengthens, renews and brings spiritual protection, especially when we pray the Our Father, the prayer of the Son to the Father, reflecting His own greatest need for protection for the path ahead: His Passion and death, which leads on to renewal, Resurrection and Life eternal.

A Blessing for trees

Let us pray for the Earth and especially bless the tress, so essential for all life, as we come toward Earth Day on the 22nd April..

I bless the space

Where the tree once stood

A place full of grace

And beauty

Now gone

I bless the tree

That once stood in the space

And sheltered the birds

And sang to the breeze

And shimmered with light

And made our life bright

I bless all the trees

Now present or gone

That touch our lives

In unknown ways

And brighten

The most drear

Of days

I Choose Mercy

I choose Mercy.

I ask that Mercy flows from The Heart of Love directly to me and heals all the wounded, unhealed, hurting parts of me.

I choose Mercy, which is greater than forgiveness and encompasses all time and space and heals, far beyond my limited perspective and imagining.

I desire to immerse myself in Mercy, hoping it will free me to forgive all and find peace.

Mercy then, is what I choose; Mercy above forgiveness. Mercy that heals all, loves all, blesses all, saves all.

It is in Mercy that I place my trust in: God's Mercy, rather than my weak human capacity to forgive.

Amen

Anointed

Anointed

As we look towards Pentecost and the Coming of the Spirit, let us contemplate on what it means to be anointed with the Spirit.

To be anointed with the Love of the Holy Spirit, surely means to be touched by the Fire, the Passion, the Spirit of God Himself, to feel awakened to the Light and the Truth of God with us, moving, powerful, awesomely flowing in action. It is a blessing and a command to go out and Love in its fullest spiritual sense. It is to see the blessing of each day, filled with the Holiness of God’s Spirit.

New Ears

New ears

Sometimes it is better to rely not just on what we know, on what is familiar, but to ask for new ears to hear the fullness of God’s heart and new eyes to see what is possible and new, yet to come, that we can create ourselves, with inspiration and trust, with new hope and love in our own hearts.

We ask for Your Love: a prayer

Lord, we ask for Your love to grace our lives.

We ask in confidence and faith,

Knowing that it is for this, Lord,

That You came into the world.

Flood our lives with Your Holy Light, oh Lord.

May we receive this healing blessing now.

Amen

The Holy Way

The Holy Way

THE HOLY WAY HAS BEEN revealed to as our own unique path through life, immersed in the Heart of Love. It has come to us out of the bleakest of places, beyond imagining, that has been entered into profoundly and broken open.

It has renewed us as we clung on to love and a desperate hope, not born of any real possibility for change, but a need to believe in goodness, in love, in a universal tenderness and compassion that touches the deepest tragedy, the severest, unquenchable pain, the worst assault of continuing losses, the unexpected cruellest betrayals and weeping still, brings a healing to bear that helps us hold on and move toward love, even when that love is unfelt, unreachable, separated, seemingly lost.

The Holy Way is a path of love then, a path with heart and soul, a path that commits us to keep remembering who we are and who God is.

A path that commits us to see beyond the world and all its torments, disillusions, displacements and see with inner eyes the flow of Spirit, guiding, empowering, enabling, hoping, holding, uplifting, recreating, banishing all evil in its path and helping us tread another step forward, even when no steps are possible.

It is a path of faith. It is a path of light, even in the darkest place for does not God tell us through the Psalms that even in the darkest place that darkness will be to Him as light as day (Psalm 139;12). There is no place that the Light of the World cannot shine and it is in this knowledge that we place our faith as we enter on our Holy Way.

Each person will find their own unique relationship with God, by committing to their own Holy path.

Some may focus more on the Father, others on the Son, still others may be drawn to receiving the gifts and Wisdom that the Holy Spirit brings. Yet in truth they are One; when we focus on this Trinitarian relationship and find the Heart of all Three working as one, and find ourselves in this absolute point of Love never ending, there is no greater power working with us, there is no greater love possible to come to our aid.

Hope

When loss seems all encompassing

And the way ahead feels blocked,

Do not let fear or grief overwhelm you.

Push fear away.

Say to yourself that it has no place here.

For fear clouds judgement.

Pain blocks out right vision.

Tears can drain you or be a release.

Look for the tiniest speck of goodness in this moment.

Remember who you are inside yourself

Despite the suffering.

Keep trusting that things can change

However slowly

Even if you know not how or what to do

Be innerly still

And wait

For the next moment to unfold.

Perhaps it will be bring new insight

However tiny and fragile,

Remembering that you are precious

in every moment

And your presence matters

Even when you cannot see it clearly.

Hold on to hope.

An Excerpt from living in the Heart of Love: Light of Life

Light of life

WHEN WE TALK OF Light, what do we mean? Why, we mean the inner light, the light of life that is Christ the light, the Son of the living God with us, whose spiritual energy radiates the purest light into the world and brings us to life. It is an inner light that is spiritual in nature yet also energy which resides in us. It conveys the very presence of God with us to the whole world. It can be seen innerly with spiritual practice, using the gifts of the Spirit. For those who shine Christ’s Light, it can be perceived, seen, felt, experienced.

It brings wholeness, joy, blessings, to all who are touched by it. It is often conveyed as the aura of light around the heads of saintly people and Christ Himself in works of art. Yet this Light is real for those to see who will. It is a true light that shines.

You can see the light burning in people’s eyes, when they are lifted up and on fire with the passion and direction of the Spirit. You can feel the Light touching you, shining you from the inside out. You can feel its blessing of joy, peace, hope, life.

Once touched, you feel lighter in your heart, your burdens are somehow lighter or removed altogether, your vision is clearer, light burns within you too as you are lifted up by the presence and Light of Christ.

As you feel this Light living in you, so you are drawn to prayer and praise, to authentic life in Christ. You enter more fully into communion with God and your light shines brighter in the

world. New things are possible. New pathways open up. Hope is lit in your heart. You become alive too with the light of life which burns brighter in you and cannot be extinguished.

God brings us light through unexpected ways, light can come to us. God is always communicating with us if only we open our inner eyes to see and open up our hearts to feel and allow it in. God sends us messengers of light. He is ever present and radiant in all of creation

So seek the Light and let it shine its healing within you, radiating out to touch the hearts and minds of others too. Amen

An Excerpt from Living in the Heart of Love: Where the Physical and Spiritual World Meet

An Excerpt from Living in the Heart of Love:
Where the Physical and Spiritual World Meet

ONLY THOSE WHO SUFFER vast and complete totality of poverty can begin to understand the true mystery and meaning of God’s saving Grace: His Passion and care for the world. God begins to shine in a new way for you, bringing light in the darkness, bringing wisdom to the incomprehensible, bringing hope to the impossible.

Bringing a way, when no way is visible. This is where you find the meaning that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and this place becomes alive with the presence of God. For this is true poverty, where my wife and I live.

On the edge of society, on the edge of heath care provision, on the edge of surviving.

Exploring deeply this seemingly dreadful place, we discover the meaning of suffering and we find Christ’s passion before us and with us and in us. Here is where Mercy is most true, most understood, most visible, most clear. This is where the physical world and the spiritual world meet. This is the meaning of the Passion.

Only God can fill each poverty for only God cares enough to lift the sufferer and carer into the Divine Power of Mercy and keep their love and lives alight where all else fails them.

A Prayer for Easter Monday

Lord, lead us towards You

That we might find the truth of Your being

With us,

Precious,

Indescribable,

Present.

Lead us into the very Heart of Love

And there fill us with Your deepest peace,

Not of this world,

Which can only be a grace from God,

Amen

The Immensity of the gift of the Son

The Immensity of the Gift of the Son

IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to separate the Father from the Son, it is here within the heart of this relationship, this oneness of being that mercy flows and finds both its origin and its completion.

The immensity of the gift of the Son to the world and the Son’s gift of life to all through the completion of His Passion is a mystery that only can be revealed.

To see the Mercy poured out upon the Cross is to touch with wonder, the love and compassion of the Father and the Son.

The immensity of this Gift, whose meaning was is and ever shall be Mercy, is something to be seen known and experienced by the revelation of God, which is a grace and also a longing that each one of us should enter into and explore this mystery wherein which peace, comfort, strength, healing and wholeness and countless spiritual blessings can be found.

How tenderly the Father loved the Son, how tenderly the Son loved each of us and lifted us into this complete and total love, which has no definition, no words great enough to hold and confirm it, yet which He holds open to us in every moment, hoping that we will hear His invitation and become immersed in His infinite Mercy, which He gifts to us, ever presently.

Easter Day Poem: Silent Moment from Love Returned

Silent Moment

early in the morning

silent moment of absolute power

explosion of light

shook the tomb

wherein you lay

Dead

then

Alive

So hard to even begin to understand

Love given out

to the very last drop of your existence

returned in splendour

essence of life

returned from its journey

made manifest once more in the world

bringing us out of utter darkness

into pure radiance of Light

No wonder the stone was rolled away

with the immanence of God

in that moment

come back into the world

to reunite us

forever

with Love.

Excerpt from Living in the Heart of Love: The Power That Flows From the Cross

http://www.holyway.co.uk/love/Brochure.pdf

WHAT IS THE POWER which flows from the Cross? Why, it is surely and paradoxically peace. When all is agony within and without you, you must look to a deeper connection with yourself and God.

You seek that which is truly not of the world and which Jesus Himself promised to give. Peace comes flowing in beyond expectation, hope and imagination. It fills the spaces within and around you or simply floats with you, watching, waiting, gently hovering like a bird.

The Spirit brings peace and the Spirit could only be released into the world to touch each one of us through the pain and seeming destruction of the Cross. This is the paradox of love; the peace that touches and lives with you through even the most tremendous suffering.

It does not take away the pain and yet somehow it lifts and consoles and speaks of healing, hope, comfort, a way.

It brings Mercy to the fore, for who would not tenderly, mercifully, gently love the most agonised, afflicted people, somehow giving them the strength to be in the most unimaginable torment, other than God Himself, who knows pain and torment intimately and still reaches out in a bond of communion and shared intimate knowledge, to sustain and comfort, with His Peace, most definitely beyond all understanding.

IN THE IMMEDIATE STATE of agony, God may not be visible, noticeable or appear present. This is the chaos state of extreme pain and distress. Jesus himself enters this place when he calls out “Father why have you abandoned me?” This is often misrepresented by theologians as Jesus failing and by non- religious as evidence that God was not there and that Jesus was wrong and doubted. But this cannot be so. For Jesus still called out to God, His Father. He knew He would hear him.

He may have felt abandoned by the sheer weight and extremity of suffering and torture He was experiencing.

Believe me, such extreme pain blanks the mind of understanding and reason, the burden of pain is intolerable, inescapable and you do not know where to place your awareness to cope with it.

You do not know what to do, you are robbed of normal consciousness. Oddly though your awareness of yourself somehow expands. Each time I have had to endure unbearable pain or had a near death experience, rather than feeling diminished, my consciousness of me in my mind has been huge and strong.

For myself, I have learned that the only way to endure such unendurable tormenting, beyond imagining, sheer pain, is, strangely enough, to go in to it, not resist it and to become incredibly still. This then is where I have come to find God unexpectedly close and present, even in the darkest place of my mind, where I have somehow dissociated and free floated within the pain. He too is truly there and has saved me. He has not necessarily done anything obvious.

No words have been spoken, though God does speak to me and I have heard Him many times. In these profound places of extreme torment I have not heard His Voice, only sensed Him being with me. But only when I have gone right into the pain and not resisted it when there has been no resistance for the pain to react against.

When I am in the chaos of unutterable indescribable agony I cannot necessarily feel God at all.

The power of the physical experience is huge, vast and all encompassing. I cannot bear the moment I am in. There is no other moment than this one and it seems to spread out to all eternity in an eternal moment of excruciating torture.

I don’t really have the words to describe the experience. It is more than torment, more than torture, more than indescribable, more than intolerable, more than unacceptable, more than completely unbearable. It is screamingly hostile and negating.

It is barbaric in its cruelty. It is exquisitely diminishing. It is almost completely incomprehensible in its agony it is so vast, so punishing, so pure, so bleak, so empty of life and full of sensations that is beyond endurance.

It is no wonder that Jesus called out to the Father and asked why had he abandoned him. Such is the nature of that place that all awareness can be blocked except for the pain itself that pierces every cell and every space between cells, every existing fibre of being is caught up in the torturing pain.

God, who loves us still and holds us all, is helpless to help us in that place in the sense that He cannot reach us, even though he reaches out to us. He weeps for us. He weeps with us, yet the physicality of the pain is immense and unquenchable. There is no other feeling here. All focus must be on coping, on bearing the unbearable, on remaining, on the pain itself, for there is no place that is not pain. There is no place that is not agony, there is no place that is not on fire with the violence of hurt, within the physicality of the body.

......

It is no wonder He may have felt like God had abandoned Him for He not only felt his own pain but must have felt all that of all mankind for all time. To imagine the weight of His burden of pain is impossible. Our own pain is too much to bear. No wonder he was rewarded with the precious Gift of life, for he loved us all in that place of non- existence till the whole universe was filled with His love, His Spirit, His Light and its power returned to him in a miraculous healing power of Love.

Love given out to the very last drop returned in splendour and power and awe and might. The light of life here with us all. The gateway opened for all time for the healing of every soul.

Good Friday: John’s hope

John’s Hope

Heart of Love

Dying for the world

Reaching out to save

All I can do

is stand by you

an onlooker on the sport of death

All I can give

I do

My heart

in all its simplicity

lies with yours

All I can hope

is that it is

some small speck of comfort

some speck of light

in the gathering darkness

which obscures

the True reality of

Your Glory

You are not alone

We hold you in our tears

We stay with you beyond the end

hoping, praying, waiting

for the New beginning.

From Love Returned by Linda Crowhurst

Good Friday: A mission of Love

A Mission Of Love

Violent was the pain

Torn was the body

As He hung

in compassion

on the cross

for us

Sent by His Father

on a mission

of love

No one understood

the meaning of His sacrifice

Only the steadfast few

remained

that bleak and terrible day

when the physical heart of Christ

stopped beating

and the Temple veil was rent asunder

Such was the necessary path

to upturn evil

from its self-made throne

Such was the gift given

to restore the natural harmony

of the Universe

such were the tears

of Mary needed

for the healing of the world

and such

was the gift

of life

freely given

by

the Son.

From Love Returned by Linda Crowhurst

Good Friday: Hands

Hands

Hands pinioned with pain

Holding us all

With ragged tenderness

Fingers now motionless

That once touched so many

With the gentle Power

Of Healing Love

Searing pain and paralysis

What grief

Is this

Held here

For all to see

And none to notice?

An agony of labour

Still

Answering a call

Blood mingles

With the grain of wood

Stain of human sin

Reconciled for all

Time

In those timeless

Hands

Wounded for Love’s

Greater purpose.

From Love Returned Linda Crowhurst

Excerpt from Living in The Heart of Love: The Point of Power

The Point of Power

THE HEART OF LOVE is no more powerfully visibly seen and experienced, than at the centre of Christ's passion on the cross.

This is the moment when the Father holds His beloved Son, enabling the Spirit to be released into the world for all time, a Power and inspiration uncontainable and indescribable.

It is from this point of power that the font of all Mercy is born and ever flowing in an absolute outpouring of love and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are released into the world.

You may not see the Father, nor the invisible power of the Spirit at work in such a seemingly bleak and terrible place, yet it is the place where life is reborn and hope of all healing is made possible.

The freeing of the Spirit is the utter fulfillment of God's promise and enables us to experience the fullness of God's love, through immersing ourselves in the awesome wonder of the Trinity.

It is here that the Father holds the Son and the Son with the Father frees the Spirit. The Spirit can then work through us and in us in a way not possible before Jesus’ Passion on the Cross.
