Never Limit God

When things get desperate and suffering deteriorates further and isolation and neglect threaten to overwhelm us, this is when we need to reach out and ask in confidence that we will be heard and answered powerfully and be open to receive in abundance and trust.
We have found this to be true in our own lives.
This is not easy, yet God is so present with those who suffer and knows each burden that we carry and He can  and will transform and transfigure our lives.
At the most horrendous of moments, when all has seemed lost and impossible, the infinite love  and mercy of God is ever present and powerful beyond all imagining.
Let us not then, limit God, by any short sightedness or limited perspective, nor be cut off from Him by our desperate experiences and depth of suffering.
Let us hold out our hands to receive His blessing and trust that even seemingly impossible things can be possible with God. And remain hopeful of His Power and goodness, His kindness and tenderness towards us;  trusting in  this in all the circumstances  we find ourselves in. Amen

Hope in a Desperate Place

To truly comprehend hope, one has to lose all choice.
Hope is all we can find that brings life, light, strength, comfort in a desperate place.
In this place where the only alternative is despair, hope shines brightly, radiates goodness, fills the emptiness within you, blesses you in unimagined ways.
This is the hope we mean when we speak of hope. Hope in God. Hope in goodness. Hope in life itself. Hope not for things but for peace, comfort, respite, love to bless all and transfigure our lives as it touches us. Amen

Suffering and Peace

Suffering and peace do not seem words that can exist together. They counterpoise each other.
Immersed in suffering on every level, it is hard, almost impossible to find any moment of respite, yet this is the very moment where your need is greatest.
This is the very moment when God can and will bring succour to you.
This is the height of spiritual grace, to find a peace deep within your soul that radiates out to all the pain within you and touches it like a gentle balm. This is the peace beyond all understanding, truly a grace from God.
This peace is real, tangible, present and can only come through love, through spirit, from God. It is how we get through impossible moments, finding that despite the most intense pain and unimaginable agony, there is still love with us, present, tender, here with you, within this intense, unbearable moment.
This is the peace we speak of. This is the peace that flows from on high and is available to all. Only reach up and find it, now, bringing life, hope, comfort, stillness, light, to the world. Open to receive it. Amen

We Are Showered With Gifts

As we enter into dialogue with Christ in prayer so we come to know the truth of his mission and his meaning, for we are showered with gifts, gifts of healing, so necessary for those who have incurable disease, the gift of hope so very precious to the hopeless, the gift of love, which sparkles even in the bleakest moments, the gift of mercy both for ourselves and each other, we grow in understanding and our confidence builds in the love of God here with us, keeping us safe and coming to our aid at every turn life.

For his meaning was and ever shall be love without end. Ame

Always Believe in the Power of Prayer

When everything feels impossible, yet still we somehow cope and survive and find moments of grace, we cannot know how each person’s loving thoughts or caring has touched our lives and lifted us.
Each prayer is so precious.
Each moment’s comfort may be because someone prayed and continued to pray, even in seemingly hopeless situations, where no way forward seemed possible.
Always believe in the power of prayer to bring comfort, change, hope, even miracles.

Praying For Someone

To pray for another is to hold them in the very Heart of love. It is to remember that you are in a dialogue with God and He is in a dialogue with you and knows the secret yearnings of your heart.
He feels your compassion for the person and He hears your desire for them.
It is to flood the person’s life with the energy of love, lifting the person higher into the very centre of God’s presence with you, trusting and believing that His perfect heart will heal, help, transform and transfigure any situation.
It is to ultimately hope and believe in the possibility of miracles and to know with certainty that God will come to your aid. Amen

The Best We Can Hope For

The best we can hope for
It seems
Is a stillness of moment
When the ravaging of disease ceases to capture, momentarily, all available attention
And an inner peace
Surely not of the world,
Can triumph
And the blessing of love
Can be felt
Amongst and amidst the torment.
This illness never leaves
Despite our best hopes
And yet…
And yet, we still hope and pray
Despite outward appearance
And inner destruction
That miracles will bless our lives
So that one day
We might walk free of it
And be together
In an absolute harmony
On every level
As it was before
So may it be again.
Amen

Ocean of Love

My cry is a tear,  My tears are a river,  My pain is a flood.  My need is a desert.  Your love is an ocean.’
