New video on Joy

A beautiful video by Greg about Joy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B27bjqe2KBc

What is true joy? I think I have learned that it has a lot to do with caring in its widest sense:

Care for meaning
Care for dialogue
Care for interdependence
Care for growth
Care for yearning
Care for seeing with new eyes
Care for giving
Care for kindness
Care for generosity
Care for admiration
Care for awe
Care for commitment
Care for relationship
Care for partnership
Care for community
Care for belonging
Care for character
Care for courage
Care for choice
Care for freedom
Care for gratitude
Care for honour
Care for truth
Care for discernment
Care for wonder
Care for hearing
Care for seeing
Care for space
Care for the heart
Care for the soul
Care for virtue
Care for simplicity
Care for transformation
Care for reformation
Care for mystery
Care for service
Care for love, above all else

Heart of Love

.... those most able to see, feel, know, experience the Spiritual reality of God are, perhaps, those from whom everything worldly is taken away from, leaving a stark landscape, from an earthly view, yet one which is most likely to guide us by the straightest possible route to see clearly, feel truly and find absolutely God, powerful, present, tender, true and ever present, tangibly real.

It is He who sustains us. It is He who brings unimagined gifts. It is He who sees with a whole sight what is occurring and can bring new Light to bear, even in the bleakest of places.

When we come to a place of intolerable, intractable suffering, the Heart of Love is a sanctuary that can, will and does hold us. "

Remember me who you never see: a song

A song about invisible suffering. May those who suffer in need of love and support feel seen, heard and comforted. There are far too many who suffer invisibly in great need.

May it be healed, a video prayer

Here is a video prayer asking for healing and forgiveness. May it lift and bless you. Amen

A Blessing for Dogs

Though we no longer have a dog in our home, we give thanks for all dogs for they lift our hearts and our spirits.

This was made after the death of our first dog. My husband composed the music, the ‘Amos Suite’ and made the video. We hope it blesses you.

New Article on the Holyway out now in the Faith Companion: Finding the Holyway

We are delighted to announce that we have had another article published in the Faith Companion.

Excerpt

“ Through endless pain without relief and continual incapacity, a focus on prayer has blessed us. Rather than feeling abandoned by God as suffering consumed us, we have been filled with the Spirit and listened for God to guide us. This led us to create our website Holy Way, which reflects the spiritual journey we encounter with God. Yes we struggle. We are human. We may doubt. We may cry our in despair, yet when we have placed our hearts in trust in the Heart of Love, no matter how frightening and desperate the path, God has strengthened and touched our lives and helped us find a path through the seemingly impossible.

The website we have created concerns transformation and transfiguration. It does not deny the harshness of suffering. Neither does it pretend that everything is wonderful when you suffer in God. Neither would be true. Suffering is agony, intolerable moments, desperate need and hopelessness. Yet where love resides hope too exists and light can be found even if only a chink so tiny it can barely be seen. We struggle and fall, yet we turn our gaze inwards and towards God. Blessings abound in this place, we have found. God helps us endure. We find we can reach out to others in need. Our hearts expand. Our prayer life deepens. Love is complete in a circle of faith that ultimately encompasses us all. We find our path a moment at a time. Sometimes we feel stuck in a seemingly unendurable moment, yet with God we can persevere. With God, light shines even in the bleakest place, despite the pain and more than that, we find our path is sacred as we entwine ourselves in the Holy Trinity. We walk the Holy Way.”
