 Oh Heart of Love, oh Mighty Trinity

Comfort us in our need.

‘ When we ask for comfort, He will give it….’

Our need to remain close to God is absolute in a chaotic, uncertain world. The world throws up confusion, busyness, incessant demands, complexity and stress. Yet if we take time to pray and allow God's love to flood our being, if we call out to the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit; the Heart of Love, we will surely be heard and answered. Our need for love is great. There are many hurts, some small, some huge and potentially overwhelming that wound us at soul level. All need comfort and healing. All need a path of love to keep us safe. When we hurt, we lose focus and awareness. The pain can feel as if it will annihilate us. It can be all consuming. This then is when we truly need comfort, where love can touch us and we can find that love is greater than any pain, even though it must be endured.

God knows our need. He knows all that we suffer, intimately. When we ask for comfort, He will give it, of this we can be certain, though it may not come in expected ways, for God's gifts are vast and His ways are bigger than any we can imagine. His sight all seeing, His mind all knowing and we may not always know how we can be comforted, yet we trust that if we place ourselves in the Heart of Love, the comfort we receive will be given in some unique and special way! Amen

Easter Day

The sun has risen on a new day. 

May we all be blessed and uplifted by His Light. 

May the future hold no fear, only love. 

May we trust in goodness, 

hope, 

healing, 

kindness, 

fairness, 

right balance. 

May unconditional love always guide our actions.

Palm Sunday

 

Palm Sunday always feels like a special day. It is always something precious to me to recrive a Palm cross. It begins the week of Holy week, where we head toward to Crucifixion and a seeming absence of light, till the incredible resurrection on Easter Sunday. 

What an important week to bathe ourselves and all that we love and hold dear, in prayer. 

Let us contemplate true healing of life. 

Let us understand the healing of Christ’s sacrifice and ultimate return. 

There is so much to ponder and to contemplate. 

Let us ask for the gifts of discernment and wisdom that we might know whst it means to be truly Christian. 

Let us understand unconditional love, rather than conditional love that has strings attached. 

Let our prayers be faithful and true. Let our hearts snd prsyer bless the world. 

Amen.

Light

I  pray to the Lord and hold all things to the Light of Christ; 

all fears; 

all doubts; 

all worries; 

all hurts; 

I hold them up for blessing and restoration.

Lent

 

Lent seems often to be a time of struggles as winter passes and Spring becomes. Let us bless everything we see in order to help us feel the light that flows through blessing, bringing upliftment and hope.

I bless the sunshine

I bless the trees

I bless the birds making nests

I bless the bees

I bless everyone in the world

And I bless me.

For blessing and restoration

Let Mercy fill me,

Let Mercy bless me,

Let Mercy cover me,

Let Mercy renew me,

Let Mercy strengthen me, 

Let Mercy heal me,

Let Mercy save me,

Let Mercy empower me, 

Let Mercy sing in me, 

Let Mercy live in me,

Let Mercy shine in me, 

Let Mercy grow in me, 

Let Mercy enlighten me, 

Let Mercy uplift me. Amen.
